After living in our three bedroom rowhome for over a month with loaner furniture and not much else, I was overly eager to finally be getting our things delivered! My excitement was sometimes overshadowed by the daunting task of making everything work in its new space. Delivery day came three months after we said goodbye to our belongings in Beaufort, and yes, it is truly like Christmas morning like everyone says! The packers were so efficient and organized that they finished in about three hours! All my boxes were unpacked and I was left with a whole lot of decisions to make about where everything would go, down to the last glass. It may have been stressful, but it was fun as well and now that our home is finally done, we can enjoy it!

Before & After

Kitchen:

(Yes I DO have a dishwasher! Such luxury!)

Out back you can frequently find Olive sunbathing :)

The living & dining room worked out perfectly with the furniture we already had! The bar cart was an addition shipped from Target that gave me more room for glass storage... and I've always wanted one anyhow!

Time to go up the FIRST flight of stairs! This also the second stair landing, out of four! The stairs are blank for now because we want to leave room for all kinds of treasures we will get on our travels.

Now comes the "mystery" room which is now my study and book nook. It leads to the master bedroom which is actually our guest room.

We are ready for visitors!

Bathrooms:

Since all the 2.5 bathrooms look the same, here they are in no particular order.

Time to go up to the 3rd floor! It is a lot of stairs but I know it's not too bad because Olive still comes down to greet people at the door... well, 95% of the time!

Master Bedroom:

Moving the master bedroom to the third floor originally started because there was no room for Olive's bed in the bedroom on the second floor. I think it's safe to say that Olive would gladly climb those extra stairs to share a bedroom with her favorite people! Now we love the space!

I would not have been able to pull this place together so well without the help of my friend Kathy with Up to Date Interiors. She has such a vision and was able to transform our space to make everything work that we already had - a feat that I thought was impossible! Thanks to her, we were able to use up every last decor item and picture frame to give it a home in our new place. I cannot wait to add new pieces from our upcoming travels to other countries!
